Schools Celebrate Creativity and Innovation During EU Code Week

This year, our schools embraced the spirit of creativity, problem-solving, and digital innovation by taking part in EU Code Week. The annual initiative encourages students of all ages to explore the world of coding through fun, hands-on activities that highlight the importance of digital skills in today’s society.

During the event, students participated in workshops, collaborative projects, and interactive challenges designed to introduce them to programming concepts in an accessible and engaging way. Teachers integrated coding into various subjects showing that computational thinking can enrich learning across the curriculum.

EU Code Week provided an excellent opportunity for our schools to foster teamwork, boost digital confidence, and inspire young people to become active creators of technology rather than passive users. Through these activities, students discovered that coding is not just about writing lines of code; it is about developing creativity, logical thinking, and perseverance.

By participating in EU Code Week, our schools demonstrated their commitment to preparing students for the digital future and promoting a culture of innovation. The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the students highlight the growing importance of digital literacy and the value of hands-on learning experiences.
