LTTA in Greece

From 24 to 27 February, delegations from Poland, Türkiye, Italy, and Greece gathered in Paravola, Greece, for the first Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity of our Erasmus+ project:
Maths Empowers: Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges.

Hosted by the Greek partner school, the event offered a rich program of observation, exchange, and professional development. Participants had the opportunity to:

• Share inclusive teaching methods and tools
• Participate in interactive workshops and collaborative activities
• Explore strategies to make mathematics more meaningful and accessible to all students

Training sessions focused on key approaches such as:

• Multiple Intelligence Training – Strength-Based Education by Dr. Ioannis Dimakos, professor from University of Patras Dept. of Education & Social Work
• Culturally Responsive Teaching by Dr Ioannis Karras, professor from Ionian University
• Mindfulness in Education by Maki Kostoula, critical socila psychologist
• Social Emotional Learning Training – Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Training – Positive school – Game Based Learning and Gamification by host teachers.
